1. First we need to download the configuration file, which is usually a file ending with .json (like dino65.json, dino98.json). You can find the download button on the corresponding product page on our website.
The screenshot of the dino65 page, shows where the download button is.

2. VIA is a powerful keyboard modification and customization software designed for mechanical keyboard users. We can simply access it on the browser.
Let’s go: https://www.usevia.app/
This is the screenshot of the VIA, at the first visit, you can see that the navigation bar only has three tab options, you can click the image below to enlarge it.

Now we switch to the Settings tab, and you can see there’s a toggle of Show Design tab, let’s turn it on.

After we turn on the toggle, now we can see there’s an additional Design tab in the navigation bar.

Let’s switch to the Design tab and Confirm.

Now we can simply drag json file ( say dino65.json) into the dotted box, or click the load button below, they both work the same way.

Don’t forget to click the Connect button, but if you somehow miss it, just start over from the upload step.

Let’s back to Configure tab, you can see your existing keyboard key settings and congratulations, now we’ve finished the VIA settings.

3. Let’s walk through how to modify a key setting and how to modify RGB lighting
The keyboard keys/function keys you may want to modify are already categorized at the bottom of the page,

Let’s say I want the Q to be H, I can just click the key Q above and it begins to flash, means it’s selected. And then I click H below at the Basic category, and boom, Q has become H. The setting will save automatically, now I press Q(which is H now), H is printed on the screen.

Maybe you’ve noticed that I have two special keys next to the Space Key, RGB MODE- and RGB MODE+. I’ve set them to control the RGB light mode before.

You can find these two keys on LIGHTING catogory below, but not all the keys in that catogory can work (depends on the keyboard you use), I suggest you to try RGB MODE-, RGB MODE+, Bright-, Bright+. Cause I always want the bright to be max, so after I set the light bright to max, I turned the keys to RGB MODE, so I can change the light mode easily with the keys.
